Fluid Focus Podium Midvalve Piston (fits Grip X2)

The Fluid Focus Midvalve Piston was engineered to address the proprietary Podium rebound shims, as well as improving oil flow dynamics, consistency, and serviceability. Designed and tested in-house by Fluid Focus, this upgraded piston delivers smoother damping performance, improved shim response, and easier installation for suspension tuners and home mechanics alike.

The redesigned oil paths allow the shims to open more freely and predictably, reducing harshness and improving small bump sensitivity while maintaining support through aggressive riding. Paired with our Grip X2 piston kit the result is a damper that feels more controlled, more compliant, and significantly more consistent on trail.

We also improved the piston design from a serviceability standpoint. Unlike the factory piston, the Fluid Focus Midvalve Piston Kit accepts a standard 17mm socket, making proper torque application straightforward during assembly.
